  • 5 medium baked potatoes or boiled potatoes
  • Some teaspoons of milk
The mixture for cake
  • A pinch of salt
  • A spoon of onion, thin sliced
  • ½ spoon of scallion, finely cut
  • ½ teaspoon of ground black peppercorn
  • Vegetable cooking oil for frying
Directions:
For mashed potato
  • Mash the baked potatoes or boiled potatoes.
  • Add milk little by little to have the mashed potato well. Be careful that not to make the mashed potato to be wet so much. Control it to be sure the mashed potato that you can shape it for balls.
For the mixture
  • Add salt and other ingredients included scallions, onion and peppercorn into the mashed potato and mix them well. You can taste it if it suits your flavor.
  • Use a spoon, spoon the mashed potato mixed the spices, make it to be a ball and then flatten it. Now you have a round mashed potato cake to fry.
  • Fry the mashed potato cake for a minute or until it turns to light golden. Turn it for the other side to be light golden also and take it out. Do the same steps with other cakes.
