The ingredients in this seafood recipe are simple to prepare. The time for frying is fast. The dish gives the crunchy fried tea leaves and light aromatic garlic. Prepared and cooking time: 25 minutes

Serve: 2 servings

Ingredients:
  • 200 g shrimp
  • 20 g tea leaves ( 10-15 leaves)
  • 1/3 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 bulb of garlic, separate each clove of garlic, peel them and crush lightly
  • Sunflower oil for deep frying
  • Chili sauce or salt, lime juice and ground peppercorn mixed for using combined (optional)
Directions:
  • Keep shrimps and tea leaves to be dry after washing. It helps to be safe when frying.
  • Use a sauce pan for frying. Heat the sauce pan and add the sunflower oil.
  • The oil is boiling, add salt into the sauce pan for some seconds. Add garlic and then tea leaves. Fry them for 2 minutes.
  • Add shrimps into the sauce pan and fry them for 1 minute. Take the garlic and tea leaves out first if the garlic turns to light golden and the tea leaves turn to darker and folded.
  • Fry shrimps for 2-3 minutes or until they are turn to red. Take them out.
  • Before serving, you may fry again tea leaves to be sure they are crunchy.
  • Serve the deep fried shrimps, tea leaves, fried garlic with chili sauce or salt mixed with lime juice and ground peppercorn.
